PROJECT OVERVIEW
Howling Coyote Remote Observatories was created to provide a premium remote telescope hosting experience for astronomers and astrophotographers. The goal of the project was to develop a logo and supporting branding that would feel distinctive, professional, and relevant to the space and astronomy community. In addition to the core identity, marketing materials were created to support the business at trade shows and in client-facing environments.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design approach focused on refining and elevating an initial concept into a cohesive and versatile brand mark. The final logo integrates multiple thematic elements, including a howling coyote, mountains, a telescope, and stars combined into a unified composition that reflects both the natural environment and the technical nature of the service. The HCRO letterforms were incorporated to reinforce brand recognition and create a more complete identity system. Supporting materials, including business cards and a marketing flyer, were designed with a clean and structured layout, ensuring key information is easy to understand while maintaining consistency with the overall brand.
