LOST CAUSE APPAREL
Graphic design and visual identity work for Lost Cause Apparel, a streetwear brand focused on bold, expressive, and culture-driven designs. The project focused on creating a collection of launch graphics and standalone illustrations that reflect a futuristic streetwear aesthetic and translate effectively across apparel.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Lost Cause Apparel is a startup clothing brand rooted in streetwear culture, with a focus on bold visuals and expressive design. The goal of the project was to develop a series of graphics for the brand’s initial launch, along with additional standalone artwork that could be used across future drops and apparel pieces. The designs needed to feel distinct, visually engaging, and aligned with current streetwear trends, while still maintaining a unique identity.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design approach focused on blending futuristic and streetwear-inspired visuals into a cohesive set of graphics. The launch designs incorporate geometric shapes, layered compositions, and abstract illustrative elements to create a bold and dynamic visual style. These elements were used to build depth and movement within each piece while maintaining consistency across the collection. For the standalone teddy bear design, the focus shifted toward character-driven illustration. Using the provided direction as a foundation, the final design presents a relaxed, slightly melancholic character with stylized details such as a gold chain and branded stitching, creating a recognizable and adaptable graphic suited for apparel applications.
